Ladies Bible Study
Leader: Cindy Kent
Time: Sunday During Family Growth Hour | 9:30-10:15 AM
Location: St. Mark Room 11
Current Topic: The Surpassing Value of Knowing Christ: A Study of Philippians
Description: The apostle Paul was an extraordinary individual by any measure. From the moment he was introduced to Jesus by name in a blinding flash of light to his final days chained like an animal in a Roman dungeon, he relentlessly pursued Christ and preached the gospel entrusted to him. Paulâs fervor could not be starved, smothered nor drowned.
No slander nor accusation could sideline him. No beating with rods could silence the melody of his midnight song. The power of the Holy Spirit that first came gently to Europe in a riverside prayer-gathering soon burgeoned into an earthquake beneath a jailhouse, loosing the chains of every prisoner and dousing a jailer and his household in the waters of baptism.

Sunday School
Leaders: Judy Lane & Krissie Miller
Time: Sunday During Family Growth Hour | 9:30-10:15 AM (September thru May)
Location: St. Mark Conference Room
Description: Kids, ages preschool through fourth or fifth grade, get together to learn more about the Bible. Whether the kids are watching a video on a Bible story or doing an activity, it is a great way for kids to learn more about Jesus. We like to teach the children all about the Bible, from Old to New Testament. Currently, we watch an animated video series to take them through stories like Joseph in Egypt, David and Goliath, John the Baptist, Jesus and His Parables, and so much more. Each week there is a video with simple questions and an activity to follow. This helps the kids learn the importance of the Bible while having fun with others at the same time!

Location: Smelko Home
Current Topic: Watching and discussing The Chosen Season 3
Description: Five loaves. Two fish. Impossible math. Jesus promises rest to His followersâbut that doesnât mean there wonât be trouble along the way. Jesus delivers a sermon that will change the world. The result? Life gets harder for His followers. From a marital crisis at home to a disastrous mission abroad, their struggles leave them weary and weighed downâŚuntil a little boy with five loaves and two fishes shows up. In Season 3, all 12 disciples face new fears and entrenched, old ways when Jesus sends them on their first mission. But each faces his own unique burden, too: Matthewâs estrangement from family, Little Jamesâ unhealed disability, Simon Z.âs unresolved past, and Simon and Edenâs marriage crisisâ just to name a few. Meanwhile, scores of newcomers like Veronica and Jairus desperately seek Jesus for relief from crushing crises and heavy-handed authorities, religious and Roman. Thousands ultimately converge on Jesus, first to argue then to listen. But as His preaching extends to the next day, they find themselves in a new predicamentâfar from home, famished, and without any food to eat. Until a little boy with five loaves and two fishes shows up...
