The Sonshine Seniors is a group of seniors (50+) that meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12 pm (noon) at St. Mark in the fellowship Hall. Most meetings are a bring your own lunch unless otherwise noted on their Calendar of Events or Facebook page. Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Dessert are provided. Hotdogs can be purchased for $2.00 and any after is $1.00 each! Popcorn is $1.00 for all you can eat! We have ketchup, mustard, relish, hotdog chili, coleslaw, and sauerkraut for your hotdogs! A homemade or store bought side will be offered as well. Lunch is at 12 noon and a short meeting follows at 12:30 pm. At 1:15 pm we will have various speakers or entertainment.
Since our inception, we have an annual Rummage Sale (our way to earn funds for expenses, activities, and speakers), Picnic, Pizza Party, and Christmas Luncheon.
